I am a Tholu Bommalata Artist from Nimmalakunta Andhra Pradesh. Tholu Bommalata is a traditional handcrafted figures made from treated animal hide, mainly used in shadow puppetry.

Damu

Damu parshuram Gadag is a Warli folk artist from Maharashtra, India, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Warli tribe through traditional art. Drawing inspiration from nature, rural life, festivals, and community traditions, Damu creates intricate compositions using the distinctive geometric forms and storytelling techniques that define Warli painting.

Rajendrakumar

Rajendra B. Hankare is a renowned calligrapher, educator, and author from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. A retired Vice Principal with an M.Sc. and B.Ed., he has dedicated his life to promoting calligraphy and handwriting arts through workshops, exhibitions, and publications. His works are held in collections in the UK and USA, and he received the Rajya Stariya Akshar Gaurav Puraskar 2023 for his contribution to the field.

Jwalamukhi

Jwalamukhi Devi is a skilled Madhubani artist from Jitwarpur, Bihar, renowned for preserving and promoting the traditional Mithila painting heritage. She was honored with the Rajya Puraskar (State Award) 2012–13 for her outstanding contribution to Madhubani art and continues to represent the rich cultural legacy of Bihar through her work.

Unik

Gopal Gupta is a traditional Indian artisan widely recognized for his expertise in wheat straw art from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. He creates intricate, eco-friendly handicrafts and paintings by reusing natural golden wheat stalks rather than synthetic materials.

Anand

Anand Bariya and his whole Family is a traditional artists specializing in Bhil art, a renowned tribal art form native to central India. His work is deeply connected to the culture, rituals, and folklore of the Bhil tribal community.

Niranjan

Niranjan Moharana is one of its recognized modern masters. He received the National Award for Master Craftsmen in 2004 from the Govt. of India for excellence in Pattachitra. Based in Odisha, he specializes in Thia Badhia — the large temple-format paintings you see of the Jagannath shrine — and tala pattachitra on palm leaves. His work blends traditional iconography with detailed storytelling, and a major 166.5 × 487.2 cm Krishna-themed piece of his is part of the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne collection.

Lokesh

Lokesh Joshi is a renowned Phad painter from Rajasthan with over 30 years of experience in preserving and promoting this traditional folk art. He inherited the Phad painting legacy from his father, acclaimed artist Shri Kanhaiya Lal Joshi, while his mother was India's first female Phad painter. Through workshops, exhibitions, and innovative interpretations of traditional themes, he continues to keep this ancient art form relevant for contemporary audiences.

Sushila

Sushila Maravi is a talented Gond artist from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, whose artistic journey reflects resilience, dedication, and transformation. Trained under the guidance of her sister, the renowned Gond artist Durga Bai, she developed a distinctive artistic voice rooted in traditional Gond painting. Her vibrant artworks portray themes of nature, community life, migration, labour, and women's strength through intricate patterns and symbolic storytelling. Today, Sushila Maravi is recognized for preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Gond art while sharing powerful narratives through her paintings.

GAURAV

I am a dedicated professional with experience in handcrafted wood inlay (Tarkashi) products, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities. I manage day to day store operations, including inventory control, vendor coordination, and visual merchandising. Conducted Tarkashi (wood inlay) craft workshops in collaboration with institutes such as National Institute of Fashion Technology Raebareli, IIT ROORKEE, RIMC DEHRADUN along with various schools and colleges in the region. Engaged students through hands-on training sessions, promoting traditional craftsmanship and encouraging creative skill development. Coordinated with faculty and management to organize workshops, demonstrations, and interactive learning experiences, contributing to craft awareness and cultural preservation.

Sunandha

Tanjore Painting is a traditional South Indian art form known for its rich use of gold foil, gemstones, and intricate detailing. I learned this art through local classes and self-study, inspired by its beauty and cultural significance. Every step of the process requires patience, precision, and craftsmanship, with each painting taking days or even weeks to complete. Traditionally created to depict Hindu deities and adorn royal spaces, Tanjore paintings continue to preserve their heritage while inspiring new generations of artists. Success in this art comes through dedication, consistent practice, and attention to detail.

Dwarka

Dwarka Prasad Suthar is a distinguished Kavad Kala artist from Rajasthan, known for preserving and innovating the centuries-old tradition of Kavad storytelling art. Trained under his family lineage, he has dedicated over four decades to creating intricate Kavad paintings depicting narratives from the Ramayana, Panchatantra tales, and other traditional folk stories. By adapting this heritage art to canvas, wood, and contemporary mediums, he has helped bring Kavad Kala to wider audiences. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to Indian handicrafts and traditional arts, he was honored with the National Award by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, in 2019. Through his work, Dwarika Prasad continues to keep Rajasthan’s rich storytelling tradition alive for future generations.

Ranjan

Ranjan Pawam is a talented Madhubani artist from Madhubani, Bihar, specializing in traditional Mithila painting. A professional artist with over 25 years of experience, he has been dedicated to preserving and promoting this iconic folk art through vibrant depictions of nature, forests, villages, and cultural themes. He received the State Award (2011–12) for his contribution to Madhubani painting and has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions and trade fairs, including events in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Through his work, Ranjan Pawam continues to showcase the rich artistic heritage of Mithila to audiences across the world.

Gourab Biswas is an emerging artist from Siliguri, West Bengal, known for his versatility across multiple art forms, including clay mural painting, sketching, acrylic and oil painting, resin art, and Lippan art. Passionate about exploring new techniques and creative mediums, he continuously experiments with diverse styles to create unique and expressive artworks that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics.

Sanjay

I am Sanjay Ravate. Warli Painting is a very old (about 2500-3000 years) traditional folk art of the Warli tribal tribe of the Maharashtra, especially in Palghar districts. These paintings mainly depict nature, daily life, festivals, customs and Tarpa dance, which shows the relationship of human life with nature.

I am a traditional Mata ni Pachedi artist from Ahmedabad, preserving a centuries-old ritual art practiced by the Chitara community. My work involves hand-painting with natural dyes on cloth, depicting sacred stories of Maa Durga and other deities with intricate detailing. Each artwork reflects devotion, heritage, and fine craftsmanship.

Rabindara Behera is a traditional artist from Raghurajpur Heritage Village, Odisha, with over 20 years of experience in the rich artistic traditions of the region. He specializes in Pattachitra painting, Tussar (Tasar) painting, Palm Leaf Carving, and Palm Leaf Painting, preserving Odisha's cultural heritage through intricate craftsmanship and storytelling. His work reflects generations of traditional knowledge and a deep commitment to keeping these timeless art forms alive.

Pradipkumar B. Jadhav is a distinguished artist from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, known for his evocative paintings that blend realism with imaginative storytelling. Holding a G.D. Art qualification and with decades of artistic practice, he works primarily in acrylics and explores themes drawn from rural life, culture, spirituality, and human experiences. Rajesh Kumar Joshi is a renowned Phad painter from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional storytelling art of Phad. With decades of experience, he has conducted workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions across India while mentoring artists and students. His work has been showcased at prestigious national art events, and he has received several recognitions for his contribution to the art, including participation in major exhibitions such as the Bhilwara State Art Exhibition (2016) and the Kerala Lalit Kala Academy Exhibition (2017). He has also trained international artists under the Young Ambassadors Programme (2018), further promoting Rajasthan's rich artistic heritage.
